This is a wonderful Christmas story! It tells the story of 3 friends, Becky, Nikki, and Melissa, who live in Halfway, Montana. This Christmas there are a lot of changes for the 3 friends as they prepare to celebrate the holidays. For Melissa, it's her first Christmas spent with her husband Wade for 10 years, and she is getting used to having him around again after having spent so much time single-handedly raising their daughter. Becky is pregnant after many years of wanting a child, but she is still busily baking and organizing! Nikki is about to undergo major changes in her life. This is such an endearing story, as each woman deals with problems in their past as well as struggles at the present time. Oh I just love the Halfway stories! I love that they are just god clean books! Sweet sweet stories. So I was excited to read this one and once again I was not disappointed. I love all the characters and love learning more about them. Just loved it.
Well, I wasn't let down. Not that I ever had the thought come into my head. This was/is a super quick read and sweet sweet read. I'm anxious to hear more from the whole gang in Halfway. It's great to see friendships blossom, romance spark, love to increase, and an author whom knows how to keep a twist on the story to make you want to read it forever.

Wow, this is such an awesome read. The story will grab you and not let you go until you finish the very last page, the characters are amazing and you cannot help but fall in love with them and want to see them succeed no matter what and the story moved along at the perfect pace not to fast nor to slow. This has to be read, you will not be sorry that you did.
Okay so Nikki and Nyah are the main female lead characters I love. Nyah has my heart right now. The guilt she is dealing with, the pain of loosing her best friend, the struggle of having to care for an old man dying of cancer with no ability to talk and no family, the stress of taking over her fathers practice, and doing everything alone......Just pulls at my heartstrings. Becky was way better in this novella, but Melissa is one selfish, heartless, bitter, stubborn person. I sure hope the next book gets the stick out of her butt.

The third in a series and I must warn that I would start at the beginning of this series because the story completely builds from one book to the next.
There are four women that in book one returned to Halfway, Montana and in this book their lives move forward just a bit. As I would say this is more in the novella range, it is a quick short read and I loved the holiday theme, I wish it were a little longer.
Nikki has a secret but, wants to keep it a little longer. Will she cave or end up telling on herself?
Becky and Matt are super busy running their tree farm. Now that Becky is pregnant baking is what she loves and does the most! Will all her business catch up with her?
Melissa Tait has spent the last nine years celebrating the holidays without her husband Wade. With him home there is so much to adjust to. Will she find a balance of sharing her husband and sharing her daughters time with her husband?
Nyah Henderson has finally returned to take over her father’s medical practice. She is thrilled to be back if only she could still have Melissa's friendship again.
